Project Overview
Cyberlabs repurposed an underutilised hospitality box at Charlton Athletic F.C.’s 28,000-seat stadium in South-East London, transforming it into a pitch-facing Cyberlabs Gaming Box designed for matchday and non-matchday use.
The Challenge
The club wanted to unlock more value from existing stadium space, improve fan engagement, and explore new revenue opportunities without disrupting traditional matchday operations. The solution also needed to support wider community use and social impact initiatives.
Our Solution
CyberLabs led the redesign, fit-out and technical delivery of the space, creating a welcoming, lounge-style environment equipped for multiple use cases. The Gaming Box features:
Two PS5 consoles
Two UNEVN PC gaming desks
Nintendo Switch
BenQ gaming projector
X Rocker seating and sofa lounge area
The space was designed to function equally well as a premium fan experience, a private hire venue, a community activation space and a content-ready environment.
The Outcome
The Cyberlabs Gaming Box now operates as a revenue-generating asset on both matchdays and non-matchdays, while also supporting community programmes and social impact initiatives. The project demonstrates how football clubs can repurpose existing infrastructure to better serve fans, partners and the local community through gaming and digital engagement.
